As a child, I was glued to the screen when the credits rolled. My parents always wondered if I was going to go blind sitting that close to the tv... and while my eyesight HAS gotten a lot worse, that's not the point. What I'm trying to say is- I was absolutely FASCINATED with the idea that you could be paid to voice a character in a film. To BE that character in a film. That definitely influenced playtime with my brother all those years ago. It wasn't until I was 17 that I had thought about pursuing it professionally. I was in a band; we actually were a one hit wonder- and I had just left. I wanted to pursue something a little more fun. Going back to my youth... voiceover was something I always did, even on the playground with my brother. My imagination has just...always been where I lived. Now- with over 10 years of experience, I can say I've lent my voice to tons of video games, movies, cartoons, and more.
